Late this fall, we had to put our Maine Coon Cat, Batman, down. He had some kind of tumor or blockage in his intestines, and his poor belly bloated up like some kind of balloon. It was pitiful. You know when you walk into the room and it gets really quiet, and you know it's most likely a coincidence, but you can't help getting that sickish feeling that everyone was talking badly about you? I'm there. On a lot of different levels in my life.

I know that it's probably the stress of Pampie being sick, and meme being off her feet, and trying to keep it all together, but this flaming ball of depressed paranoia has parked itself in my chest, and it's making me ... lonely.

I'm feeling better. I need to stop putting so much pressure on myself. Stop making decisions out of a fear of inertia, or lack thereof. I need to use my head, and follow my guts.

EVERYTHING happens for a reason, and if I find things difficult, I need to remember that it's a learning opportunity, and the universe won't send me more than I can handle.

I had a very random dream last night.


I dreamed that Cheeks and I were hanging out at Ryland's house, (because Cheeks spends a ton of time in Maine, right?) And we were smoking pot, which was actually the most sensible part of the dream, because that's what you do at Ryland's house. Anyhow... we're sitting there smoking weed, and get it in our heads that we are bored and want to find something to do.

I've always had strange dreams involving water and drowning. I dream that waves are crashing over my head, or that I'm swimming towards the surface of a body of water, or that I'm lying at the bottom of a pool looking up.

I once had a dream I was crawling along a dry river bed, picking through random objects collecting pennies of a certain date and saving them.
