Hello! My name is Eileen and I live in a small city (80 thous.) in British Columbia, Canada. It's a semi-arid climate here in Kamloops. I am 45, married, with two kids (Amanda 16 and Aaron 13). I am currently a stay at home mom, but used to teach elementary school before having kids. I love to read, write poetry, meet new people, talk, and talk some more!
I have learned so much lately by joining fan groups and talking to people on line. The best part of this year so far has been making cyber friends.
Guilty pleasures are: Watching General Hospital, eating chips, soaking in gossip (I said it).

Im Kira to most people here. I live for all theatrical, and am eternally grateful that Cheeks taught me how to remember that I have a sparkle.
I have challenges as Im sure all of us do, and again Im grateful that Im one of the "lucky" ones.
My favorite band of all time is Aerosmith
I love Tattoos
Im trying to get into post secondary and failing miserably at the moment.

WOW. I'm too old to learn to navigate another site. But for Cheeks, I'll give it a try! Don't know if I'm well known in the Cheekdom, but I am "needacoke" everywhere I go. Just call me Coke. Can't say the same for you bitches who change names on every site. Gonna start a spreadsheet to try and keep up with who everybody is! I'm here because I just love the twinkle in Cheeks' eye and how very hilarious and talented he is! Do I have to keep this black background? It's not good for old eyes.

Coke, I'm still waiting on that spreadsheet. It will be my survival map of the interwebs since I no longer know to whom I am speaking on the forums. Like needacoke, I never change my screenname. Or my password. I'm an enabler and think that hackers were just raised that way. Why should I make life more difficult for them than it already is? I live in Ohio (I also enable stalkers). If you were smart, you would live in Ohio, too! With global warming, Ohio will someday be prime vacation real estate. Plus, we have corn. I'm kinda old. So old, that my only child just graduated from high school. I don't believe in "you're as young as you feel" or "you're young at heart" blah-blah-blah bullshit. I'm no longer, nor do I want to be, young. Been there, done that. Overrated. What I want to be is "always running behind." And I am! I write blogs, I do recaps, I work in my husband's office, I take care of my family, I offer unsolicited advise to all of my siblings, I ignore the unsolicated advise of my parents, I drink, I cuss, I look in the mirror and manipulate my face to see what it would like after plastic surgery, I snoop on my son's Facebook, I hide my credit card bills from the husband, I screen my calls, I watch reality TV, and I hang out on the internet. Believe me. That makes for one hell of a long day, and at the end of it, I'm always running behind.

As for Cheeks and Cheektopia. How could I not join? It's not like I have time, but so what? I can rearrange my priorities. I'll do less face manipulations and spying on the son to squeeze this in. Ever since the Miss California YouTube, I think I've been a Cheektopian. I think this place has lots of potential. But, if I may be so bold - when is cocktail hour?
