Just my two cents regarding the poll on the main page/Passion Party.

I can see it's a fun activity and obviously a lot of people are excited about it. I haven't been to any and it *does* look interesting. However, I don't think it should be "hosted" on this site. I'm guessing it's what "Thru the Looking Glass" is for, y/y? It's not in related to any Cheeky bsns (that I know of but hey, I only know what I'm told... and it's not much) nor were any of the fans asked for opinions prior to the decision of hosting said party.

Posting a link to an off-site host could work just as well. Then pimp the fuck out of it for more viewers (going through this site first, wherever the link is posted, so Cheektopia gets a share of hits). Or some of those "In partnership with..." / "sponsored by..." kinds of things. I just think a direct hosting of the Passion Party should not be here where any person of any age can sign up and walk in to whatever's going on.

But that's just me. Some of us are openly "scolded" when we talk about non-Cheeky stuff so I think it's just fair for us to speak up (and be heard, hopefully) about other non-Cheeky bsns.

I'm not comfortable with the Passion Party being hosted on this site, either - would much prefer it hosted on another. I don't have a problem with these kinds of parties - in fact, I have a blast going to them, and have no problem at all with the concept of holding one online. It sounds like a hoot! I would suggest that you at least put up a button that people have to read and click to enter, confirming that they are over 18 years of age and that the products sold are not illegal in their state. (There are a few southern states with crazy laws against vibrators, dildos, sex toys - nuts.)

I agree with Cate on this one. The idea of a web-based passion party sounds fun, but I don't like the idea of it being hosted on this site. As Cate pointed out, anyone of any age can sign up to be a member of Cheektopia. To me, this means everything the site offers should be something they can see. Locking the chat for 18+ is not the issue for me--hosting it here is. I think Cate's idea is a sound one--host offsite and link here.

Well a decision hasn't actually been made yet, hence the poll. In any case, I have to say I'm in full agreement that if we decide to "host" the party it should be linked (or worked out somehow) so that only those 18 and over will be able to participate, and those who wish not to participate won't have to. =)

That being said, I'd like to direct you all to the message Cheektopia Administration posted above that says any concerns regarding anything on the forum should be discussed via private message to Cheektopia Administration or sent to Cheektopia@live.com. That holds true here as well, as such debate is irrelevant to the original post.

Therefore, I'm going to close this discussion for now. If you still have concerns, feel free to private message Cheektopia Administration, or even one of the admins seperately if you wish.

I'll also say, to all those concerned/confused about the poll, more will be posted on this subject in the future. Stay tuned.
